DIER has advised that resurfacing works will be undertaken in the Northbound Lanes of the Brooker Highway between Risdon Road and Derwent Park Road from Saturday 18 February to Saturday 25 February 2012. Work will include milling, asphalting and line marking. In the event of poor weather works may extend in following nights.

Approved Repairers
RACT has over 50 Approved Repairers throughout Tasmania in the general areas of mechanical repair and servicing and a range of specialist fields. To become an RACT Approved Repairer, businesses must meet stringent standards in the areas of personnel, appearance, equipment, scope of services provided and customer service. RACT continuously monitors the performance of RACT Approved Repairers. Any RACT member who shows their membership card to an RACT Approved Repairer when discussing proposed repairs can expect:
- On request, a written cost estimate that cannot be exceeded by 10% without your authorisation
- Warranty on repairs against defective materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions for at least three months or 5000 km
- On request, any replaced parts to be made available to you (not including parts to be returned to the manufacturers under warranty or exchanged policy)
- Full cooperation with the RACT in the investigation and resolution of any dispute involving the repairer and the RACT member
- In many cases a special RACT member discount or benefit, as part of the club's Show Your Card & Save program.
