RACT Insurance offers Building, Contents, Personal Effects, Strata and even Investor cover to ensure your most valuable assets are protected.

Building Insurance
  • Safety Net home protection

If your home is damaged by an insured event and the cost of repairing or rebuilding it exceeds the Sum Insured, then if necessary, we will pay up to a further 25% of your Sum Insured to: repair damage; rebuild your home; or pay you what it would reasonably cost us to repair or rebuild your home.

  • Lifetime guarantee on home repairs
  • Flood and Storm damge cover
  • Temporary housing during repairs up to 10% of the sum insured
  • Add your choice of options* (variable excess, accidental damage, storm damage to gates and fences, damage to electric motors)

*Some options incur an additional premium.

 

Contents Insurance
  • Cover for CDs and DVDs up to the sum insured
  • Household computer equipment included as part of your contents
  • Damage caused by power surges
  • Add your choice of options* (variable excess, accidental damage, damage to electric motors)

* An additional premium is payable for this option.

 

Personal Effects Insurance

Note: This product must be purchased with Contents Insurance

  • Cover for accidental loss or damage
  • Replacement cover
  • Choice of specified or unspecified cover
  • No excess on specified items

Strata Insurance

If your home is part of a Strata Scheme, you would be covered for Insured Events, eg, Fire, Storm, Flood etc, as well as the 25% Safety Net if the cost of repairing damage or rebuilding your units exceeds your Sum Insured.

You would also be covered for:

  • Common Area Liability
  • Common Contents
  • Embezzlement of Funds
  • Office Bearers Liability
  • Lifetime Guarantee on Repairs

Investor Insurance
  • Theft by Tenants or their guests
  • Malicious damage by Tenants or their guests
  • Loss of rent
  • Default or non-payment of rent
  • Legal costs to recover unpaid rent
  • Cover automatically includes $10,000 worth of contents
