Terms and Conditions

1. RACT Footy Tipping is provided by The Royal Automobile of Tasmania Limited PTY LTD ABN 62 009 475 861. ("RACT").

2. These terms and conditions apply to the AFL Tipping Competition and the Tasmanian State League Tipping Competition.

3. The competition is open to all persons with the exception of RACT and RACT Insurance employees.

4. Entrants must be resident in the state of Tasmania to claim any prize.

5. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by all competition General Rules. RACT reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these General Rules. Any amendments to these rules will be published on this web site - www.ract.com.au.

6. Prizes

• A weekly prize will be provided to the entrant that achieves the highest point score for the specific round of play in each of the tipping competitions.
• The value of the cash prizes awarded will be as advertised and on the basis of ratio of 1:2, for non-members to members.
• To be eligible for the member level prize amount footy tipping participants must be registered on the RACT website as members.
• At the end of each competition the entrant with the highest total score and lowest cumulative margin will be deemed the winner of that competition and receive the grand prize for the appropriate competition.
• If more than one entrant has the highest total score and lowest cumulative margin then the prizes will be determined by a draw.
• There are no alternatives to the prizes stated and the prizes are not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
• If a prize involves air travel, the travel is from and to Hobart or Launceston airports.
• RACT Reserves the right to replace any of the prizes with a similar item of similar value at its own discretion.

7. The judge's decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

8. RACT will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant's ability to participate in the Competition.

9. This site provides information on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, other than those warranties which are incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under the laws applicable to any transaction conducted on this site.

10. Any links provided by this site are provided for information only and are not endorsed by RACT.

11. This site has no affiliation with Australian Football League (AFL).

12. This site has no affiliation with AFL Tasmania.

13. By entering, entrants agree to receive e-mails from the RACT.

14. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by RACT.

15. RACT reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
