  • How does the RACT support the interests of road users?

    RACT seeks to advance the aims of "safer drivers, in safer cars, on safer roads" in Tasmania. That's why we have an ongoing interest in government policies and programs that affect our 185,000 members, and a dedicated government relations and media unit to advocate on their behalf. RACT gives our Members a public voice on a wide range of issues that concern them. From local road safety and traffic issues like faded roadmarkings or dangerous drivers, to unfair fuel prices or funding cutbacks to vital roads or enforcement programs RACT will take our Members' concerns directly to government at all levels and seek to influence policy or regulatory outcomes for their benefit.
