
Harvey Lennon is the Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited, having taken up this role in December 2010, succeeding Greg Goodman.
Prior to assuming his new role, Harvey was the Club's Chief Operating Officer from 2007 to December 2010 and Chief Financial Officer from January 2000 to 2007. Before joining the RACT, Harvey worked in the State Department of Treasury and Finance, where he held a range of senior positions. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Tasmania, is a CPA and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Harvey is married with five children. His interests include serving as an officer in the Army Reserve, a Board Member of Colony 47, a member of Rostrum and continued involvement in Scouting.
For relaxation, Harvey enjoys running, camping and fishing.
Vince Taskunas was appointed to the new position of General Manager, Public Policy and Communications in January 2008. He is responsible for the RACT's strategic communications across all channels, media and government relations, corporate citizenship and community engagement, and is RACT's public spokesman on a range of issues affecting RACT Members.
Vince works closely with the RACT's Regional Advisory Committees and the RACT Board's Road and Traffic committee. He also manages public policy research and development and is the RACT's delegate to the national Public Policy Forum of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA).
Before joining RACT, Vince worked as a media and political adviser to Tasmanian Federal parliamentarians in Canberra and Hobart for eight years, and in small business prior to that.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the Public Relations Institute of Australia. Vince is a director of the Tasmanian Ballet Company Ltd, and has previously served as a board member of Cerebral Palsy Tasmania and Carers Tasmania. In his spare time he enjoys singing, playing guitar, fishing, watching the Wallabies and Essendon Football Club, and spending time with his family.
Darren Moody is the RACT's General Manager, Roadside and Technical Services. Darren has been with the RACT since 1990 when he commenced as a Roadside Patrol Technician. He moved to a Team Leader role in this area before being appointed Manager of the Roadside Call Centre in 2000, later taking on the role of Manager, Roadside Operations and in 2007 commenced his current position.
Darren has completed his Diploma of Business and is RACT's representative on the AAA Technical Policy Group, AusRAP Technical Working Group as well as RACT's judge for Australia's Best Cars.
Darren is married with two daughters and lists his interests as his children's sports activities, travel, motorsport, and golf.
Craig Petterwood is the RACT's Chief Operations Officer and in that role, he has responsibility for all member service and sales areas of the Club. From July 2005 until December 2010, Craig held the position of General Manager Sales & Distribution. Prior to this appointment Craig was the RACT's Regional Manager North based in the Launceston Office, a position he had held since joining the RACT in February 1994.
Craig continues to be based in the Launceston Office, his role providing a senior management presence in the north of the State, but he is also required to regularly travel around the state visiting the Branch network.
Prior to joining RACT, Craig held senior Human Resource positions at ACL Bearing Company, Launceston General Hospital, UMT and Savage River Mines.
Craig is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Certified Professional of the Australian Human Resources Institute. He was a long time Director of TCCI until 2006.
Craig is married with three adult children and enjoys fly-fishing, walking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Lyndell Shephard is the RACT's General Manager, People & Culture and in that role provides leadership specifically in relation to Employee Relations; Health, Safety and Wellbeing; Recruitment; and Learning and Development, in alignment with RACT strategy.
Lyndell joined the RACT in 1992 as a Customer Service Consultant in our Burnie branch and held a number of roles including Branch Manager. Lyndell moved to Hobart in January 2006 to take up her current role.
Lyndell is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Human Resources Institute and holds a Diploma in Human Resources.
Lyndell lists visiting the gym, watching sport and enjoying our wonderful restaurants and wineries among her favourite relaxing pastimes.
Greg Hankin is the RACT's General Manager, Member Services, responsible for sales, marketing and product development for RACT Membership and Roadside services as well as having responsibility for the Club's CRM systems and management of CRM activities across the RACT group.
Greg has been with the RACT since 1979 and has held a number of roles relating to sales, marketing and customer service across a broad range of RACT services.
Judy Dew was appointed to the Chief Financial Officer role in October 2008.
Prior to joining RACT, Judy was employed as a registered nurse at the Royal Hobart Hospital until deciding on a major career change to Accounting. Nearing completion of a Bachelor of Business degree, Judy joined the RACT in 2002 and subsequently moved into the Company Accountant role two years later.
Judy is also a CPA and Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Aside from work commitments, Judy is kept busy with three teenage children, enjoys reading, walking, music and some gardening.
